Company History:

Transitional Builders Inc. has been in business since 1987. We are experienced in all types of commercial, residential and institutional construction. The majority of our work comes from the development of private sector client relationships and our company's valued reputation with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and the community.

Our Team

Mark A. Fumasoli
Owner / Executive Project Manager

Along with Mark's present responsibilities, he has held positions of Project Executive, Project Manager, Project Administrator and Field Supervisor. Mark previously held Project Management positions at both Joseph R. Martucci, Inc. in New York and Roy C. Knapp & Sons, Inc., where he managed large commercial projects ranging in value of one- to twenty-million dollars. Mark graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Architecture.

Mark has over 40 years experience in all phases of commercial, institutional and residential construction.

Mark Figliozzl
Construction Service and Operations

Mark brings to Transitional Builders many years of construction experience with a concentration in electrical and HVAC applications. Mark's responsibilities include coordination of material/supplies, assist with labor activities on job sites, weekly job meetings and consult with Owners to discuss coordination items.

Robert Elwood
Field Supervisor

Bob is an experienced Carpenter and Construction Supervisor having worked for commercial contracting firms for many years. As an experienced Construction Superintendent Bob's daily responsibilities include supervision of all subcontractor activity, daily jobsite reports and coordination of all material/supplies. Bob has proven able to coordinate productive relationships with crews, subcontractors and clients.

Bob has over 20 years experience in all phases of commercial and residential construction. Bob has been employed with Transitional Builders since 2015.

Todd Fitchett
Field Supervisor

Todd is versatile in carpentry and woodworking with a background in residential, commercial and municipal construction to include new construction and renovations. Todd possesses excellent skills in communicating with Clients, Architects, and overseeing Subcontractors to deliver results within budget and on schedule. Todd has been employed with Transitional Builders Inc since December 2017.

Radoslaw Pokora
Field Supervisor

Radak is an experienced Carpenter and Construction Supervisor having worked with Transitional Builders Inc since 2008. Radak is experienced and capable of handling everyday field responsibilities of any size project.

Michael Mills
Field Supervisor

Mike is an experienced carpenter having worked for residential and commercial contracting firms for many years. As an experienced Construction Superintendent Mike's daily responsibilities include supervision of all subcontractors activity, daily jobsite reports and coordination of all material/supplies. Mike has proven able to coordinate productive relationships with crews, subcontractors and clients.

Mike has over 20 years experience in all phases of commercial and residential construction.

Josh Rueger
Carpenter Assistant

Josh joined the Transitional team in May of 2018 having served overseas in the Military. Josh continues to grow and learn carpentry skills under the supervision of the Lead Carpenter and Field Supervisor. His enthusiasm and motivation to learn and assist in completing projects has been a great asset to Transitional Builders, Inc.

Barbara Rottmann
Assistant Project Manager/Office Manager

Barbara comes to Transitional Builders, Inc. with over 25 years administrative experience. She handles accounts payable and payroll along with human resources and benefit administration. Barbara manages cash and maintains bank relations. She handles all phases of insurance with insurance representatives.

In addition to her daily responsibilities Barbara works directly with the principals of the firm in preparing client requisitions, estimates and job proposals. Barbara assists with ordering, scheduling and maintaining project files.

Barbara attended Dutchess Community College.

Diane Heller
Assistant Project Manager

Diane is responsible for issuing change orders, ordering and tracking materials for various projects, and maintaining project files. She is also responsible for distributing specifications and plans for upcoming bids on new projects. Diane sets up and maintains all job cost reports, RFl's and submittals. She is responsible for administering document control relating to subcontracts, purchase orders, insurance certificates and bonds. In addition to her management and organizational skills, she is knowledgeable in the areas of project startup and close out.

Diane brings to Transitional Builders over twenty five years of administrative experience.
